1. Introduction
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of The Aisle App and any related services we provide (together, the “Services”). The Services are operated by Nuru Technologies Pty Ltd (“we”, “us”, or “our”), an Australian company.
By creating an account or otherwise using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use The Aisle App.
When you create an account, you agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information about yourself and your wedding. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.
Each wedding lives in a single account, which may be shared by both partners. You may invite Collaborators (family members, bridal party, committee members, vendors) at access levels you choose. You remain responsible for what your Collaborators do inside your wedding's account.
3. The free trial
When you sign up for The Aisle App, you get a 7-day free trial of every feature. We do not require a credit card or any payment method to start your trial.
If you do not choose a plan by the end of the trial, your account moves to a read-only state. You can pick a plan later to resume full use.
4. Plans and pricing
The Aisle App offers two ways to pay:
One-off plan. A single payment of USD 100 gives you full access for the life of your wedding (from sign-up through to your wedding day and beyond, as a wedding archive).
Payment plan. Four payments of USD 30 each (total USD 120), spread across the months leading up to your wedding. The final payment is due 30 days before your wedding date. This plan is available only if your wedding is at least 5 months away when you start.
Prices may change from time to time. Any change will not affect plans you have already started.
5. Payments
We accept payment by mobile money, credit card, or bank transfer, depending on the methods available in your country.
Payments are processed through third-party payment providers. By paying for the Services, you also agree to the terms of the relevant payment provider.
You are responsible for any taxes, duties, or transaction fees that apply to your payment in your country.
6. Refunds
Payments for The Aisle App are non-refundable.
Where applicable consumer protection law gives you statutory rights to a refund (for example, if the Services fail to do what was reasonably expected of them), those rights are not affected by this section.
If you have postponed or cancelled your wedding, see Section 11.
7. Failed or missed payments
If you are on the payment plan and a payment fails, we will notify you and try again. You have a 14-day grace period to update your payment method or complete the payment.
After 14 days, your account moves to a read-only state. Your wedding's data is always preserved. You can complete the missed payment any time to resume full access.
We do not delete data because of missed payments.
8. Your wedding's data
You own everything you put into your wedding inside The Aisle App: your guest list, your photos, your ceremony details, your registry, your committee notes, your stationery designs, your timelines. We do not claim ownership of your wedding's content.
By using the Services, you grant us a limited licence to host, store, process, transmit, and display your wedding's content for the purpose of providing the Services to you and your Collaborators.
We do not use your wedding's content to train artificial intelligence models or for any purpose unrelated to providing the Services. We do not sell or licence your wedding's content to advertisers, vendors, or any third party.
9. Information about other people
When you add Guests, Collaborators, or vendor contacts to your wedding, you are sharing information about people other than yourself. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share that information with us, and that you treat their data with appropriate care.
See our Privacy Policy for more on how we handle data about Guests and Collaborators.
10. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the Services to:
- Upload or share content that is unlawful, harmful, abusive, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else's rights
- Send spam or unsolicited messages to Guests, Collaborators, or any other person
- Attempt to access another couple's wedding without authorisation
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or otherwise interfere with the technical operation of the Services
- Use the Services for any purpose other than planning, holding, and archiving a wedding
We may suspend or terminate access for accounts that breach these rules.
11. Wedding postponement or cancellation
Weddings change. Dates move. Circumstances shift. We understand.
If you need to postpone your wedding, you can update your wedding date in your account settings and your plan adjusts accordingly. The payment plan schedule will be recalculated if applicable, subject to the rule that the final payment is due 30 days before the new wedding date.
If your wedding is cancelled, contact us. We will work with you in good faith. Options may include pausing your account, extending the read-only archive, or in some cases providing a partial refund.
12. Vendor directory
The Aisle App's vendor directory lists wedding vendors who have applied to be included and whom we have curated. We are not party to any contract between you and a vendor.
While we vet vendors to a reasonable standard, we do not guarantee the quality, reliability, or conduct of any vendor listed. Engaging a vendor is your decision and your responsibility.
Vendors listed in the directory agree to separate terms governing their listing.
13. Service availability
We work to keep The Aisle App available and reliable. We do not, however, guarantee uninterrupted access. The Services may occasionally be unavailable for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
We are not liable for losses arising from downtime or service interruptions, except where required by applicable consumer protection law.
14. Intellectual property
The Aisle App, including its design, code, branding, content (other than your wedding's content), and the vendor directory we curate, is owned by Nuru Technologies Pty Ltd and protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Services without our prior written consent.
15. Disclaimers
The Services are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we make no warranties of any kind, express or implied, about the operation of the Services or the information, content, or materials included on them.
We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that any defects will be corrected.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties. In those jurisdictions, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of goodwill, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, consumer guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law where they apply).
17. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your account settings.
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, if your account remains unpaid after the grace period, or if we are required to do so by law.
If your account is terminated, you will lose access to the Services. Your wedding's data may be deleted in line with our retention practices, except where we are required to retain it by law.
18. Changes to the Services
We may add, change, or remove features of The Aisle App from time to time. We will give reasonable notice of material changes that affect plans already in progress.
19. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version and adjust the “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the Services or by email where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Services after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
20. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria, Australia, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
We aim to resolve any dispute informally first. Please contact us at hello@theaisleapp.com and we will work in good faith to find a fair outcome.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria, Australia, except where applicable consumer protection law in your country gives you the right to bring proceedings in your local courts.
21. Entire agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any other notices we publish, form the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Services.
If any part of these Terms is held to be unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
